This stylish baby bed by Leander is designed with the urban lifestyle in mind. The look is minimalist, precise and sophisticated.
The Linea Cot bis made from solid beech and features beautiful old style finger joints – a testament to the craftsmanship involved.
The base has two height settings for the baby and the cot converts to a junior bed by removing one of the sides for the older child.
Later it converts to a smart sofa by adding back cushions and a cover to the mattress.
Leander Comfort Mattress measuring 120 x 60cm is available separately.
This beautiful cot is another example of the unique design and craftsmanship Leander is so renowned for. The Linea cot is unique with its unusual angles and finger joints. It has a smart, urban look and cleverly converts to a sofa suitable for any play- or lounge room.
The precise, angled lines project trendy urbanism while the finger joints tell a story of tradition and strong wood working skills. Together they offer a brand new look supported by great functionality and an innovative range of textiles.
The Linea Cot converts seamlessly from cot to toddler bed to sofa and follows your child’s development and needs – true to the Leander mantra:
“To design quality furniture for children, one has to see the world trough their eyes and understand their need for safety and opportunity to develop.” – Stig Leander, designer & founder
This super comfortable mattress has a pressure-relieving cold foam core with drilled vertical air channels for continuous air circulation. The surfaces are different: one side has small knobs and is ideal for a baby’s weight (the white side) and the other has a wave pattern (the purple side) ideal for a heavier toddler (12kg+).
The mattress has a zip-off cover with inbuilt mattress protector with excellent wetness protection and breathability properties. It contains Tencel® which is 130 times more absorbent than cotton and is quilted with 100% wash fleece (polyester fleece) and refined with lavender and melissa oil essences for their calming effect as well as their effectiveness against fungi and bacteria.
The cot’s footprint is 90H x 65W x 132L cm with a sleeping area of 120L x 60W cm and is available in natural or white. It is made from solid European plantation beech and all varnishes and glues are non-toxic.
The Leander Comfort Mattress is bought separately. It is breathable and made by Europe’s leading manufacturer of cot mattresses, Traumeland.
The Linea cot meets the stringent Australian safety standards and has a 3-year warranty on all wooden components.

We, Baby Direct and the Manufacturer, reserve the right to inspect the unit, and may need you to send the item to the Manufacturer. If the item is found to be faulty due to manufacturers fault, you will be furnished with a repair, exchange, or refund (as determined by the Manufacturer under the guidelines of the Australian Consumer Law). A Baby Direct receipt will be required for proof of purchase. You may be charged for repairs if the product has been damaged accidently, through misuse or neglect. You may be offered a loan product in the interim until a resolution with the Manufacturer has been reached during their business hours.
These are in addition to statutory warranties which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Manufacturer warranty periods are as stated for each individual item. If you make a claim under a Manufacturer’s warranty, you must pay for the cost of returning the product to Baby Direct and for the cost of having it delivered to you after repair, exchange or refund (as the case may be). Other Manufacturer warranty details are as stated for each individual item.
