Taupe Rever Bebe VEVO double pram in a sunlit courtyard, with the caption Room to grow. From one child to two.

A growing family changes what you ask of a pram. First it is a bassinet for a newborn. Then it might be a seat beside a bassinet, two tired toddlers on the way home, or one child riding while the other walks.

The Rever Bebe VEVO is designed around those changes. It starts as a single pram and converts to an inline double, with separate bundle choices for the stage you are in. But the best way to choose a pram is to look beyond the photos: what is included, what you will lift, and whether the whole setup fits your car.

This guide puts those everyday questions first, then compares VEVO with Babybee JUNO, Redsbaby NUVO², UPPAbaby VISTA V3, Bambini LISBON and Silver Cross Wave 3.

VEVO at a glance
  • $1,099: two toddler seats and one bassinet, with the current bonus bag and shopping-basket offer.
  • 63 × 34 × 81 cm: listed folded size, with one seat attached or chassis only.
  • 20 kg per seat: for approved seating configurations.
  • Black or Taupe: the same four package choices in either colour.

One pram for the stages ahead

Choose the combination you need now, then think one stage ahead. A bassinet-equipped package gives a first newborn their pram setup and a toddler seat for later. A seat-and-bassinet arrangement can accommodate a newborn and an older child. Two toddler seats become useful once both children meet the seats’ requirements.

VEVO’s reversible seats can face you or the world in approved layouts. The seats are rated to 20 kg each; the bassinet is rated to 9 kg, with developmental limits also applying. Ask to see your intended layout with the correct adaptors, especially if one child is tall or you want both children facing a particular direction.

A long list of configurations is useful only if it includes the ones your family needs. Focus on your children’s sizes, the seat directions you prefer and how easily you can switch between them.

The fold you will use every day

The walk is only part of the outing. Folding the pram, lifting it over the boot lip and finding room for the shopping can matter just as much.

VEVO chassis folded without the seat, 63 cm long by 34 cm wide by 81 cm high
With the seat removed. Load the chassis and seat separately.

Both arrangements have the same listed outer dimensions. Removing the seat splits the lifting weight between two pieces; the detached seat still needs its own space in the car.

What you will be lifting
Component Listed weight Practical difference
Chassis 9.6 kg The main lift when you remove the seat.
One toddler seat 4.2 kg Can be loaded separately.
Bassinet 5.6 kg Allow space for it alongside the folded chassis.
Chassis + one seat 13.8 kg, calculated 9.6 + 4.2 kg; accessories may add weight.

Try both loading routines. A one-piece fold may save a step, while removing the seat gives you a lighter main lift. The photos above demonstrate a fold with one seat and a chassis-only fold.

Will it fit your car boot?

Start with the opening, then check the space inside. A boot can have a generous advertised litre capacity and still be awkward to load because of a high lip, narrow opening or sloping tailgate.

Chassis only. Remember to leave room for the detached seat.

These boot scenes are AI illustrations, not verified fit tests for a particular vehicle. Fit depends on the car, the rear-seat position and the other items you carry.

  • Measure the opening: the narrowest clear width and height, including the boot lip.
  • Measure the usable floor: between the wheel arches and from the rear seats to the closed tailgate.
  • Try the folded shape: compare all three sides—63, 34 and 81 cm—in the orientation you would load it.
  • Add your real luggage: a second seat, bassinet, nappy bag and groceries need space too.
  • Test the lift: check where you can grip the frame and whether you can load it comfortably.

If space is tight, ask our team about a boot-fit check. Tell us your car model and year, which rear seats need to stay upright and the VEVO package you are considering.

How VEVO compares with five popular alternatives

Compare a complete package for the same stage of family life. A single-pram starting price is not the cost of carrying two children. Second seats, bassinets, adaptors and optional accessories can change the total.

Selected growing-family packages
Pram Package used for this comparison AUD price
Rever Bebe VEVO Two seats + one bassinet; lower adaptors $1,099
Babybee JUNO [1] Bassinet & Two Seat Set; double adaptors $1,898.99 sale

Redsbaby NUVO² [2] Black Double Seat + Bassinet Pram; two seats and bassinet fabrics $1,849
UPPAbaby VISTA V3 [3] Greyson pram with bassinet ($1,799) + RumbleSeat V3 ($399) $2,198 before any extra layout-specific adaptors
Bambini LISBON [4] Noah Gold Future-Proof Bundle; two seats + bassinet $2,400
Silver Cross Wave 3 [5] Licorice; main seat, tandem seat, carrycot and listed adaptors $1,999

These are selected packages checked on 11 September 2026, with different inclusions. Delivery, colours, promotions and optional accessories can affect the final price. At these prices, VEVO is $799.99 below the JUNO offer and $750 below the NUVO² package.

Seat limits: check the position your child will use

On some double prams, the lower seat has a different limit from the main seat. For children close in size, that distinction can be more useful than a headline configuration count.

Weight limits do not tell you everything about comfort. Check headroom, harness position and footrest support with each child seated in the intended position.

Folded size: compare the whole shape

Manufacturers describe length, width, depth and height differently. Read all three numbers and the seat configuration. A chassis-only measurement leaves out any detached seats or bassinet.

JUNO measurements are taken from its product-page diagrams. LISBON’s model page and general comparison chart differ on some figures; the model page is used here. Wave’s page repeats “L” on its 60 cm measurement, so its envelope is shown without assigning a different label.

VEVO’s calculated 13.8 kg chassis-and-seat combination is heavier than the published 12.4 kg JUNO and VISTA single-seat totals. Splitting the VEVO into chassis and seat changes the lift. Try the routine you would use most often before deciding.

What could make each pram right for you?

VEVO: a lower package price for the main family stages

VEVO’s clearest advantage in this comparison is the $1,099 two-seat-and-bassinet package. It gives you the components for a newborn-and-toddler stage followed by two-seat use, with a 20 kg allowance for each seat. It belongs on your shortlist if you want those arrangements at a lower upfront cost and are comfortable with its folding and lifting routine.

Babybee JUNO: more layout options and generous load limits

JUNO offers 48+ configurations, a one-hand standing fold, two 22 kg seats and a 15 kg basket. An optional toddler board adds another way to use it. Those features may justify the higher package price if you expect to carry substantial shopping or use the board regularly. [1]

Redsbaby NUVO²: folding with two seats attached

NUVO² can fold in double-seat mode and offers an optional Buggyboard. Its lower-seat weight limit depends on direction. The bassinet package uses a shared seat/bassinet frame, so try the conversion process if you expect to switch often. Compare that routine with VEVO’s separate bassinet and illustrated one-seat fold. [2]

UPPAbaby VISTA V3: check the main seat and RumbleSeat separately

VISTA combines all-wheel suspension, a standing fold and an optional PiggyBack board. Its Australian main seat and RumbleSeat have different limits: 23 kg and 16 kg respectively. If both children are growing quickly, try them in the exact positions they would use and include any required adaptors in your quote. [3]

Bambini LISBON: compare the complete bundle

LISBON’s model-page folded dimensions and component weights match the VEVO figures shown here. The selected Future-Proof Bundle is $1,301 more than VEVO’s two-seat-and-bassinet package. Compare the supplied accessories, fabrics and after-sales support alongside the physical pram. Use accessories approved for the model you buy. [4]

Silver Cross Wave 3: a complete tandem package

The selected Wave 3 already includes a carrycot, main seat and tandem seat. It has a two-hand fold and a 10 kg chassis. Its 15 kg tandem seat limits are worth checking against your children’s sizes; the 22 kg main-seat figure applies in single mode. [5]

VEVO package choices
Package Price Plan around…
Single Seat $899 One child who meets the toddler-seat requirements.
Single Seat with Bassinet $999 A first newborn, with a toddler seat ready for later.
Two Seats $999 Two children who both meet the seat requirements.
Two Seats with One Bassinet $1,099 A newborn and toddler now, followed by two-seat use.

The current $1,099 variant includes a bonus mummy bag and shopping basket. Raincovers and insect nets are not included. Check the selected package and accessory availability when ordering. One bassinet does not provide a two-newborn-bassinet setup.

Three questions to take to a pram demonstration

  • Can both children sit comfortably in the arrangement we want to use?
  • Can each adult who will use the pram fold it and load it comfortably?
  • Does the complete setup fit our car with the luggage we normally carry?

If the answers work for your family, you can compare prices with much more confidence. A pram earns its place through the ordinary trips you make week after week.
