Choose the pieces you need
A cot and chest set brings together a sleeping space and everyday storage. A package with a wardrobe adds hanging space, but it also needs more floor space and door clearance. Compare the exact item list for each set: “three-piece” may describe different combinations, so count the furniture, mattress and accessories separately.
Compare Rever Bebe package inclusions
- Agra cot, mattress and chest: the Sandstone cot and three-drawer chest, plus a 130 × 69 × 12 cm pocket spring mattress.
- Classic cot and chest: a Classic cot and matching three-drawer chest with removable changing tray, in the selected Ash or White finish. The required 132 × 70 cm cot mattress and changing mat are sold separately.
- Classic cot, chest and wardrobe: three matching Ash furniture pieces, including the chest’s removable changing tray. The cot mattress and changing mat are sold separately.
Confirm the selected product options and current contents before ordering. Decorative accessories in the photographs are not automatically included.
Keep the room practical
Measure every piece separately and leave space for drawers, wardrobe doors and access around the cot. Compare cot and mattress measurements, and check any changing tray against the intended mat. Our cot-and-chest package planning guide below walks through room fit, compatibility and the extras to check.

Frequently asked questions
Do all nursery furniture packages include a mattress?
No. The listed Agra cot, mattress and chest package includes a pocket spring mattress. The Classic cot and chest and Classic three-piece Ash packages require a mattress purchased separately. Always read the selected listing’s contents and mattress requirements.
Are the accessories in the photographs included?
Only items specified in the product listing are included. Changing mats, bedding, nursery chairs and decorations may be shown for styling. Check each item rather than relying on the room photograph.
Does a three-piece package always include a wardrobe?
No. Package names and counting conventions vary. The Classic three-piece Ash package lists a cot, chest and wardrobe; the Agra package lists a cot, mattress and chest. Compare the actual contents.
Can I choose a different mattress or changing mat?
Only choose an alternative that meets the exact cot or changing setup’s instructions for size, thickness, fit and use. Ask our team about the models you are considering if compatibility is unclear.
Buying guide
Planning a cot-and-chest nursery package
Start with a room plan and a list of included items. A matching finish is useful, but the furniture footprint, mattress specification and changing setup decide whether a package will work in your home.
Read the guide
1. Measure the room before choosing a set
Sketch the room and mark door swings, built-in storage and the space needed to walk between furniture. Measure the route from your entrance to the nursery, including tight turns and stairs. You need both the assembled dimensions for room planning and, where available, the packed dimensions for delivery access. Leave room to open drawers and wardrobe doors fully.
If you are also adding a nursery chair, measure its working space as well as its upright footprint. A footrest or reclined back may need extra clearance. Place the cot away from reachable cords, blinds and heaters; the ACCC cot guide explains these placement hazards.
2. Compare each piece, rather than the package photograph
These two Rever Bebe examples show why a similar-looking room can need different measurements:
- Classic cot and chest: the cot is 148 L × 75 W × 85 H cm; the chest is 80 W × 50 D × 92 H cm. The package includes a removable changing tray, with the cot mattress and changing mat sold separately.
- Agra cot, mattress and chest: the cot is 137.3 L × 76 W × 79 H cm; the chest is 120 W × 45.3 D × 83 H cm. The package includes a 130 × 69 × 12 cm pocket spring mattress. A changing tray is not listed as included.
Agra’s cot is shorter in length, while its chest is wider. Neither package is automatically the better fit for a smaller room: compare both pieces with the layout you drew. Check the selected finish, current specification and inclusions on the Classic package and Agra package pages.
3. Match the mattress to the exact cot
The Classic cot specifies a 132 × 70 cm mattress; the Agra package includes a different size. Do not substitute one for the other. Check the cot’s stated mattress thickness and fit requirements as well as length and width, and keep the instructions for assembly and later adjustments. An included mattress and a mattress sold separately should both be checked against the particular cot’s instructions.
4. Separate storage from changing compatibility
A chest of drawers is useful storage, but a flat top alone does not establish suitability as a changing station. Check that the manufacturer permits the intended changing setup, whether a tray is included, and the full mat dimensions that fit inside it. A “universal” description or a coordinating colour is not enough to confirm compatibility.
Plan how storage furniture will be secured using suitable anchoring equipment and the supplied instructions. The ACCC furniture safety guide explains why securing furniture matters and why the fixing depends on the furniture and wall or floor.
5. Count the contents and the extras
Write a separate line for the cot, chest, mattress, changing tray, changing mat and any wardrobe. Mark each as included, optional or not part of the package. For a convertible cot, check what its future configuration requires and whether additional parts must be purchased. Bedding and decorative objects in a styled photograph are not an inclusion list.
Need hanging space as well as drawers? The Classic three-piece Ash package adds a wardrobe to the cot and chest. Measure the wardrobe’s footprint and door opening before deciding that an extra piece will be useful.
6. Check the order and delivery details
Before ordering, confirm the selected models and colours, assembly requirements, any missing measurements and the delivery or collection options for your address. Ask whether pieces have different availability and how that affects fulfilment. Do not assume a package means assembled delivery or that all pieces arrive together.
Use the Baby Direct contact page for questions about a shortlist. If you want to see a model at the Dandenong showroom, confirm the current display first. For individual pieces, explore baby cots, nursery dressers and the wider nursery furniture range.
